The second of the two large teardrop pendants that I purchased ( the other is the Honeybee necklace) is an ethereal rose quartz.  Its soft facets give it a lovely glow, and there's a faint white matrix in the stone.  The necklace is a study in both color and asymmetry.  The elements include; peach moonstone chip beads, Czech glass copper Saturn beads with a white band,  rose quartz gemstone rounds, silver plated daisy spacers and bicone beads,  and carved clear quartz.  It's all been meticulously hand-knotted on pale clay cord, and it closes with a silver plated Bali-style toggle.  This is really a special piece - it's a combination that wears well on most skin tones and is feminine yet bold as well.  Think of it with gray, black, denim blue, even shades of green.  It's the only stone I have of this kind and just matchless.
