I absolutely love these recycled glass pendants from the Taylor's Falls bead shop.  I don't know how the patterns are embedded in the glass, but they are just stunning, especially on this deep turquoise.  that became my inspiration, and I love the combination of turquoise, red, black, and gold.  I surrounded it with may rows of seed bead stitching, and then attached it to a hand-knotted necklace made of gold cord.  The necklace features dyed faceted jade, handmade  black inlay beads from India, picasso red glass melon beads, and gold peanut beads.  it's a stunning piece that will be a joy to wear.  The necklace is nearly 30" long and closes with a gold-plated toggle.  the pendant is just under 3".  The glass makes it very light weight as well.
